East Kent Goldings Hops:

East Kent Goldings (or EKG) hops are the quintessential English hops. They originate from Canterbury Whitebine, an old variety dating back to 1790, and are mainly grown in the county of Kent. They are also known as Kent Golding or Canterbury Golding, but it is the same hop.

East Kent Goldings hops have character. They provide a fine and light bitterness, as well as floral notes, lavender, honey, earth, lemon, and thyme. These hops are highly prized for English ales and pale ales.
