Centennial 50g Yakima Chief Hops:
Centennial hops are a classic among the classics of the American craft beer movement.
Developed in 1974 and released by Washington State University in 1990, Centennial is an aromatic hop that has become one of the most popular varieties in the craft beer scene.
Formerly nicknamed "Super-Cascade" (due to its almost double alpha content), it can be used as a bittering hop.
Centennial is a cross between a Brewer's Gold female and a USDA male.
The Centennial 50g from Yakima Chief Hops features a lemony and spicy profile with very delicate floral and herbal notes.
Its composition makes it ideal for use at the end of the boil, in Whirlpool, and for Dry Hopping in primary fermentation.
The 50g format is perfect for small batches or adding complexity to your beers with small amounts of hops.
