Columbus (CTZ) 50g Yakima Chief Hops:
A historical hop of the American craft beer movement, Columbus (a descendant of Nugget) was the first variety nicknamed "Super Alpha" due to its high Alpha acid content.
Also known as "CTZ" (Columbus/Tomahawk/Zeus - a trio of similar hops), the Columbus variety is primarily used as a bittering hop.
However, its aromatic profile featuring citrus, spices, and an earthy note allows it to be used as an aromatic hop.
The 50g format is perfect for small batches or adding complexity to your beers with small amounts of hops.
