Our partner in Montpellier, Le Drapeau Rouge, offers training courses to help homebrewers learn how to brew their own beer. These brewing workshops, located in Montpellier at 53 rue du faubourg Boutonnet, 34090 MONTPELLIER, are held every week. They are designed both for beginner homebrewers just starting out and for more experienced homebrewers looking to improve their skills by benefiting from the expertise offered in these training sessions.

Le Drapeau Rouge, which also serves craft beers on tap, offers brewing workshops as well as the option for homebrewers without equipment or lacking space to rent brewing equipment on site. Homebrewers in Montpellier can also purchase raw materials for brewing, subject to availability.

Brewing workshop packages

Initiation package

The initiation package at the brewing workshop is ideal for groups of friends or colleagues. Held in the early evening or on weekends, this option allows participants to gather around a collective brew, where everyone learns how to make their own beer with guidance from our brewing instructor. A few days later, participants return to Le Drapeau Rouge for packaging and take home 3 liters per person from the collective batch.

Advanced package

The advanced package is more comprehensive than the initiation package. Lasting around 5 hours and held during the day on weekends, it enables participants to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in brewing. Each participant brews their own 20-liter batch of beer. Again, a few days later, participants return to package their beer. It is possible to attend this workshop with a friend.
