Dreaming of brewing beer with grain, hops, and water, but worried about the technical complexity? All‑Grain brewing is the ultimate experience for homebrewers. Our “Beginner All‑Grain” kits are designed to guide you through this transition, turning your kitchen into a true craft microbrewery — without heavy investment.

Why choose All‑Grain brewing?
All‑Grain brewing gives you complete freedom over the recipe. Unlike extract kits, you work directly with grains (barley malt, wheat malt) and whole hops. It is the traditional method used by all professional breweries.
- Complete learning: Master mashing, boiling, and hopping.
- Superior quality: Achieve beer with more body, denser foam, and more complex aromas.
- Cost‑effective: Once equipped, the cost of ingredients per liter is unbeatable.

Required equipment: Your kitchen is enough
The advantage of our 5‑liter or 8‑liter All‑Grain kits is that they do not require automated brewing systems. A large kitchen pot (8 to 10 liters) is enough for your mash and boil.
💡 The Rolling Beers advantage: All the specific equipment (fermenter, hydrometer, airlock, caps) is already included in your first kit. You only need to choose your recipe: IPA, Tripel, Blonde, or Wit.
The 4 key steps of traditional brewing
1. Mashing (Mixing malt and water)
The crushed malt is mixed with hot water. This step extracts sugars and aromas from the grains. This is where the profile of your future beer is created.
2. Boiling and hopping
The resulting liquid (the wort) is brought to a boil. This is when you add the hops: bittering hops at the beginning, and aromatic hops at the end for the beer’s aroma.
3. Active fermentation
After cooling, the yeast is added. For 2 weeks, it transforms sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide. This is the phase where the beer develops its character.
4. Conditioning and bottle refermentation
Once fermentation is complete, the beer is bottled with a bit of sugar to create natural carbonation. A few weeks of conditioning are essential for flavor balance.
Brewer tips for success
- Temperature: Be precise during mashing — a thermometer is your best ally.
- Crushing: At Rolling Beers, we crush your malt just before shipping to guarantee maximum freshness.
- Patience: All‑Grain brewing takes more time (around 4–5 hours), but the result is absolutely worth it.
