Teorem hop pellets - T45

Houblon en Pellet Teorem T45:

Teorem is a French aromatic hop variety, resulting from a cross between Strisselspalt and Cascade. It is the seventh hop variety to originate in Alsace, following Strisselspalt, Aramis, Triskel, Barbe Rouge, Elixir and Mistral.

Although Teorem can be used as a bittering hop, its delicate aromas and 5% alpha acid content make it an ideal aromatic hop. It reveals its full potential when added at the end of the boil, in the whirlpool, or during dry hopping. Its aromatic profile features exotic fruits such as pineapple, with citrus notes, followed by a secondary spicy character with floral and herbaceous undertones.

Whilst the famous Meteor brewery uses it as the main hop in its Meteor IPA, Teorem also shines in seasonal beers, lagers and full-bodied lagers.

Disclaimer: Unlike the other hop varieties in our catalogue, Teorem is a T45 variety. It has twice the alpha acid concentration of the T90 variety. It contains twice as much oil but half the plant matter. We do not recommend using it as a single hop. Maximum usage: 80% of the total hop bill.
