Sabro hops, released in 2018, is an aromatic hop variety originating from the United States. It is the result of a unique cross-pollination of a female Neomexicanus hop. Despite a high Alpha acid content, it is mainly used as an aromatic hop at the end of the boil, in the Whirlpool, and for Dry Hopping.
Sabro hops bring fruity, complex, and distinct citrus aromas. It also provides a unique blend of tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit, and stone fruit flavors, highlighted by notes of cedar and mint.
It is often used for American-style beers, such as IPAs and Pale Ales.
