Explore the Fercubator Basic. A lightweight fermentation chamber weighing less than 10 kg:

  • 1. Maintain a precise and stable fermentation temperature
  • 2. Set an exact temperature between 0°C and 50°C
  • 3. Efficiently manage the heat generated during primary fermentation
  • 4. Increase your capacity up to 55 L of beer thanks to the extension modules

How can the Ferminator improve your fermentation?

Fermentation temperature control varies depending on the equipment used… Ink Bird + heating pad, modified fridge, no control/free party…

Yet, mastering this temperature is essential for successful brewing.

  • - Temperature too low = yeast dormancy, fermentation may not start, may slow down, or stop prematurely
  • - Temperature too high = excessive ester production and marked off-flavors

A situation we've all experienced:

On brew day, everything goes smoothly. Carefully chosen ingredients, a well-crafted recipe, a spotless fermenter… Nothing seems to go wrong.

But as soon as primary fermentation begins, things take a turn… A totally UNCONTROLLABLE heat surge. The yeast goes into overdrive, and the temperature skyrockets beyond 25°C, even 26°C!

Then, the airlock activity stops abruptly, and the beer drops to 20°C. Impossible to raise again. Finally, after a few weeks, it's bottling time…

Unfortunately, alongside overwhelming and undesirable ester presence, the dreaded gush happens upon opening… A fermentation left unfinished, and the added sugar at bottling causes over-carbonation!

A whole batch wasted due to an underestimated fermentation temperature…

We've seen this scenario before. For many, it marked the start of paying real attention to temperature control.

The most common solution remains the repurposed second-hand fridge as a fermentation chamber. But this approach comes with limitations…

The downsides of a fridge:

  • - High energy consumption
  • - Insufficient precision in temperature regulation
  • - Bulky and difficult to place anywhere
  • - Heavy, and impractical on an upper floor with no elevator…

This is where the Fercubator Basic becomes essential

The Fercubator (formerly Ferminator) has been specifically designed for brewing, making it perfectly suited and highly precise.

Compact and lightweight (+/-10kg), it can be placed anywhere, even in a small space. Its modular design allows for very easy expansion to accommodate fermenters of 30 to 55L.

The ultra-intuitive control unit makes it very easy to use.

Expanding the Fercubator Basic...

How?

Yes, the Fercubator is a modular fermentation chamber… Its width remains the same, but with its extension modules, you can increase its height.

Originally designed to fit a 30L fermentation bucket, the Ferminator can be expanded with extension modules to allow pressure fermentation with a 55L Fermzilla, for example. It can even store multiple soda kegs. The modules simply slot under the control unit, with no DIY required.

Choose 1, 2, or 3 modules!
