Saphir hop pellets

Saphir Hops:

The Saphir hop is a variety of aromatic hop originating from Germany. It was introduced to the market in 2002 by the Hüll Hop Research Center. It was developed to create a more resistant alternative to Hallertau Mittelfrüh (noble but fragile) thanks to increased disease resistance and the preservation of the noble characteristics of Hallertau.

The Saphir hop presents refined spicy and citrus flavors with tangerine and sweet lemon. It is considered well suited to Belgian white beers as well as Pilsners and German lagers.

It is often used for Pilsner and Lager style beers.

• Alpha Acids: 2% - 4.5%
• Beta Acids: 4% - 7%
• Total oils: 0.8 - 1.4 ml / 100g
