Sorachi Ace Hops:

The Sorachi Ace hop is an aromatic and/or bittering hop variety originating from Japan. It was created in 1984 by Sapporo Breweries. It comes from the crossbreeding of Brewer's Gold, Saaz, and BeiKei N.2 hops.

The Sorachi Ace hop offers moderate bitterness and unique aromas, including lemony, herbal, spicy, and slightly woody notes. When used in Dry Hop, it will mainly reveal notes of lemongrass, lime, coriander, as well as dill and coconut.

It is perfectly suited for light beers such as lagers or, why not, saisons. It will stand out even more in hoppier and more acidic beer styles, such as IPAs, pale ales, and sour ales.
