NZ Cascade - Taiheke Hops:

Cascade hops

The New Zealand Cascade hops, also known as Taiheke hops, were developed in 1972 from English and Russian varieties—Fuggle and Serebrianker. While this variety can be used for bittering, it truly shines as an aromatic hop. It's in this capacity that Cascade reveals citrus (grapefruit and lemon), floral, spicy, and resinous aromas. It shares the same aromatic and flavor profile as its American counterpart, with slightly higher alpha acids.

When used for aroma, the Cascade hop is ideal for late additions during the hot side of brewing (last minutes of boiling) and in whirlpool. It also integrates well for dry hopping.
