Brew our Wee Heavy recipe: "No Turkey Just Beer" :
Discover the perfect beer for Christmas 2024 (and 2025)… and 2026.
This recipe aims to be well-rounded and will emphasize the complexity of malt aromas.
The very biscuity Maris Otter will pair wonderfully with caramel malts. Boiling for 90 minutes or more will produce an extended Maillard reaction that will bring out superb deep notes of roasted, caramelized, toasted flavors, etc. This aromatic palette will give the beer a lovely overall indulgence.
Strong (9.2%), the alcohol will remain in the background. It will only bring a nice warmth to this beer, which we believe to be the most comforting in our catalog.
The pack includes the malt, hops, and yeast necessary for the recipe, for a 20-liter brew.
