Description
Protafloc (E407) is a clarifying agent in tablet form based on carrageenan (Irish Moss).
Add it to the wort during boiling to facilitate protein removal on cooling.
To use, add between 10 mg and 60 mg per liter of wort (0.20 to 1.20 g for a 20-liter brew) within the last 15 minutes of boiling.
Use 1/2 tablet for 20/ 25L of wort.

Make Your Clarification Easier with Protafloc!
Protafloc is a clarifying agent made from Irish Moss, a seaweed that clumps proteins together to precipitate them to the bottom of the brewing kettle.
Clarifying your beer is not just an aesthetic detail. It mainly promotes the stability of the beer over time.
If you are a Hazy IPA brewer, using a clarifying agent will be essential.
It may be counterintuitive when seeking "the Haze," but it is crucial to control it, otherwise, say hello to gushes related to Hop Creep.
Skipping it would be a detrimental mistake.
"Do not seek the Haze, the Haze will come to you," a famous brewer from Montpellier once told us. This is what Protafloc will allow. One more element for mastering your beer.
Compared to classic Irish Moss, it will be much easier to dose your clarifying agent since you will no longer need to weigh anything. Cut a tablet in half and use it for 20 liters of wort.
