Description
The touramber malt is a unique and versatile ingredient, kilned and then lightly roasted, which imparts delicate flavors of biscuit and toasted bread to beer, while enhancing the roasted aromas from the process. This malt also provides a beautiful golden to light amber color (39 to 52 EBC), enriching both the appearance and the aromatic profile of beers.
Particularly suited for Ale-type beers, this malt can be used in a variety of styles to emphasize the malty character. It delivers aromatic richness in both light beers and more robust recipes, such as saisons or powerful stouts.
Usable in proportions of up to 20%, it enhances the aromatic profile while blending perfectly with other diastatic malts for excellent performance during mashing.
