Automatic PLC Pasteurization Chamber – 1‑Pallet Hybrid

Description

Secure your production and eliminate microbiological risks with a flexible pasteurization solution. This automatic chamber allows you to process a full pallet of packaged beverages. Thanks to its hybrid system (36 kW electric or steam), it ensures uniform heating controlled by a Siemens PLC for perfect biological stability of your products.

  • Capacity: 1 standard pallet (1200 x 800 mm)
  • Hybrid system: electric heating (4 x 9 kW) or steam
  • Precision control: Siemens PLC and touchscreen
  • Internal probe included for reference sample

This pasteurization chamber is designed for craft breweries and beverage producers seeking total sanitary safety (elimination of bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella). Its compact design ensures uniform heating of all packaged beverages (cans, bottles, or kegs). During manufacturer tests, a temperature difference of only 1°C was observed between the various containers placed inside the chamber.

The complete process (temperature rise, holding stage at 63°C for 30 min, and cooling to 20°C) takes on average between 3h00 and 3h30 depending on your heating and cooling configuration.

Why choose this product?

  • Energy versatility: The hybrid mode allows the use of either the 4 independent electric resistances (36 kW total) or steam injection into the water tank (18 kW min. recommended).
  • Siemens intelligent control: The touchscreen interface allows you to program cycles and monitor core temperature via an internal probe placed in a reference sample.
  • Optimized capacity: Its usable volume allows simultaneous processing of:
    • 1120 cans of 44 cl
    • 1280 cans of 33 cl
    • 768 Long Neck bottles of 33 cl
    • 288 bottles of 75 cl

Rolling Beers Tips

1. Cooling management: Cooling is achieved by draining hot water from the tank and replacing it with cooler water. Two methods are possible: direct fresh‑water feed from your network, or circulation through your brewhouse plate heat exchanger (cooled by glycol water). The second method allows cooling in approximately 90 minutes.

2. Cycle accuracy: For effective pasteurization, always place the internal probe inside a “dummy container” (a bottle or can filled with your product) to ensure the core of the batch reaches the target temperature.

3. Steam installation: When using steam mode, the chamber is equipped with a manual valve and an electric valve for safe control of heat insertion into the water tank.

Product FAQ

What electrical supply is required?
The equipment requires a three‑phase electrical supply: 380/400 VAC – 50 Hz (3P+N+E). Ensure your installation supports the 36 kW electric heating power.

How is the chamber cooled?
The circuit includes two electric valves on the inlet and outlet, coupled with two manual ball valves. This allows you to manually regulate the fresh‑water flow (network or heat exchanger) to control cooling speed.

What type of connections are used?
All cooling and fluid circuit connections are Tri‑clamp, ensuring standard compatibility with professional brewery equipment.
