Description
The Munich malt 25, made from carefully selected barley, stands out for its more pronounced kilning, which gives it intense and rich aromas. It offers deep notes of fresh bread, biscuit, blonde caramel, and honey.
Despite its roasting level (between 20 and 25 EBC), this malt retains its role as a base malt thanks to its strong enzymatic activity. It can be included up to 100% in a recipe. However, it is often preferred as a complementary malt to add color, depth, and richness to the beer.
The Munich malt 25 truly shines in recipes where the malty profile takes center stage. It is particularly well-suited for styles like Dubbels and Doppelbocks with strong caramelized flavors. It also adds a beautiful golden color and character to blond beers with a bold personality.
