The Muntons liquid malt extract blond is a highly concentrated 80% extract made from a selected English pale barley malt. Unhopped, it is an ideal base for extract brewing, the mini‑mash method or fine‑tuning all‑grain recipes.
Its 8 to 13 EBC colour (in a 10% weight/volume solution) produces a balanced blond wort with a gravity of around 1.032 SG when diluted to 15 litres. This extract provides a rich malty flavour and natural colour while supplying a reliable source of fermentable sugars.
It can also be used as a malt substitute (use 75% of the indicated amount) or as a partial or total sugar replacement (use 125% extract for 50–100% sugar). A versatile, stable ingredient perfectly suited to demanding homebrewers.
Why choose this product?
- 80% concentrated extract for optimal yield.
- Unhopped: full control over bitterness and hop profile.
- Suitable for extract brewing, mini‑mash and recipe adjustments.
