A Word About Tarbrew:

The Tarbrew brewpub, located at 20 avenue du Docteur Pezet, 34090 Montpellier, aims to be a place of relaxation and conviviality where sharing is the key word.

The Smoke On The Chili Recipe :

  • Color: Slightly golden
  • Alcohol: 7.6%
  • Quantity: 20L
  • Bitterness: Present
  • Brewing time: 5 hours
  • Difficulty: Medium

Note: We cannot provide the West Indian pepper. Sonny recommends using it fresh. You can find it on specialized websites or "world" grocery stores. You will need 20g for the recipe.

Ingredients (provided):

  • 5kg of Pale Ale Malt
  • 0.8kg of Munich I Malt
  • 0.7kg of Smoked Malt
  • 10g of Columbus Hops (Package #1)
  • 30g of Citra Hops (Package #2)
  • 30g of Amarillo Hops (Package #2)
  • 3 packets of WHC LAX yeast
