Description
Although slightly darker (8 EBC), Cara Clair malt from Malterie du Chateau is equivalent to the famous Carapils malt.
Indeed, its purpose is not to add colour or caramel flavour, but to bring dextrins to the beer.
Usable up to 30%, even a 5% addition will give the beer some body and a nice foam retention.
