Imperial Malt :

Imperial is a powerful malt with superb depth of color (50 EBC) and aroma. It's a cross between Vienna, Munich and cookie malt.

Usable at up to 80%, it provides a fairly full body and biscuit/hazelnut flavors with hints of honey, baked bread and dried fruit. Its enzyme content also makes it highly fermentable.

Its warm flavors are perfect for dark, wintry beers. It can also be integrated into lighter blondes, bringing an interesting malty complexity.
