Carafa® I malt
Carafa® special I malt is carefully roasted. It adds a coffee-brown color, dark chocolate/cocoa aromas and body to the finished beer.
Milder than Carafa® special II and III, it will bring a beautiful dark color and a marked but light roast to your beers. It's ideal for dark beers where sweet roasted aromas are desired. It can also be combined with other dark malts to accentuate cocoa flavors rather than coffee aromas.
