Description
This PRV valve is mainly used on Hop Bong systems to effectively purge hops of their oxygen.
It is also used to reduce pressure or allow air into pressurized fermentation systems.
However, please note that this is not an overpressure safety valve. The release of air/CO2 is done manually only.
Maximum pressure: 3-4 bars.

Using the PRV Valve
This valve integrates perfectly into a DIY Hop Bong system (or any other CO2 purge system).
One combination that works is to attach it to one of the 3 outlets of a stainless steel TC 34 T-union fitting. Opposite, you will need to connect a CO2 Ball Lock adapter, finally, the bottom outlet will be connected to the tube that will act as the hop Bong. All this without forgetting the Tri Clamp collars and gaskets that go with it, nor the butterfly valve that will be used to send the hops into the beer.
