Description
This 34mm stainless steel Tri Clamp T-union fitting is a piece widely used by brewers for its versatility. It is commonly called a TC Tee.
It allows, among other things:
- The division or combination of liquid flows. This can notably speed up the cleaning or filling of 2 tanks, for example.
- The addition of accessories such as gas Ball Lock ports to purge a Dry Hop from the top or bottom.
- The customization of your brewing system. Create more or less complex configurations that perfectly meet your needs.

Possible Uses of the TC Tee
While this piece is very versatile, we have found 2 particularly practical uses for hop beer enthusiasts.
You can place it on top of a Hop Bong with a CO2 Ball Lock adapter on one side and a PRV valve on the other, allowing you to safely purge your hops.
Another possible use is to position this piece at the bottom of the Hop Bong. This is not a common use, but purging from the bottom is more efficient. Since CO2 is heavier than oxygen, integrating it directly from the bottom will push the oxygen up more quickly. You will save time and increase safety by proceeding this way.
