Description
This Sight Glass with 34mm TC connectors of the Minimalistic type is a transparent "sight" allowing you to see inside your fermenter.
You will be able to:
- Observe the color of the wort during circulation
- Monitor the oxygen flow during oxygenation
- Evaluate the clarity and quality of the beer
- Ensure the efficiency and safety of the fermentation process
This robustly designed Sight Glass is a modern model with a two-part design for easy cleaning.

Installing the Sight Glass
In theory, it can be installed on any 34mm Tri Clamp port.
For optimal efficiency, there are at least two possible uses for this Sight Glass.
1. Use during transfer and cooling
This installation will allow you to ensure that the transfer is done correctly and you can react immediately if an element blocks the transfer. This can be useful during counterflow cooling when a lot of hops have been used and the pump is at risk of clogging.
It will therefore be possible to install this Sight Glass between a 3-way TC34 valve and a counterflow chiller.
If you find the right fitting (not sold at Rolling Beers), it will even be possible to install it on your Grainfather pump.

2. Use during fermentation
You can also install this Sight Glass at the bottom of your fermenter, between the sampling tap and the collection ball.
This way, you can observe the proper progress of your fermentation, the clarity, and the color of the beer.
