SafSpirit™ C‑70 is a versatile active dry yeast widely used in distilleries around the world. Very popular in the Caribbean and Central America, it enables the production of premium rums, spirits made from molasses or sugarcane juice, as well as liqueurs based on fermentable sugars.
This robust strain offers steady fermentation, good tolerance to temperature variations and high‑quality alcohol production with a subtle congener profile. It also performs very well on low‑ to medium‑gravity grain mashes.
The professional 10 kg carton format meets the needs of distilleries seeking a reliable, stable and efficient yeast for large‑scale fermentations.
Why choose this product?
- Versatile strain suitable for molasses, sugarcane juice and grains.
- Robust fermentation across a wide temperature range (20–32 °C).
- High‑quality alcohol production with subtle congeners.
