Description
CeltiK (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a dry yeast produced by the French manufacturer Brewline. It is designed for brewing traditional British-style beers, particularly English Ales and Porters.
It is characterized by a very fast fermentation, easily reaching a low residual attenuation (76–85%). Its strong resistance to alcohol (15%) and anaerobic stress ensures a clean aromatic profile, well balanced between esters and higher alcohols.
Depending on the fermentation temperature (14–22°C), CeltiK can produce either a neutral profile or subtle fruity and floral notes. Its rapid flocculation facilitates clarification and simplifies cold‑conditioning management, resulting in a bright, clear beer with excellent stability.
