Jazz Sour, the yeast perfect for your sour beers!
Thanks to its unique ability to produce lactic acid in the early stages of fermentation, it brings freshness and authenticity to your brews while reducing the risk of contamination.
Equivalent to the famous Philly Sour, this strain is ideal for primary fermentation (20°–30 °C) and perfectly suits styles such as Berliner Weisse, Gose, Sour, IPA, and Stout.

BrewLine Yeast – Jazz Sour 500g
Jazz Sour (Lachancea thermotolerans) is an ideal yeast for crafting sour beers, thanks to its unique ability to ferment the wort while producing both lactic acid and alcohol.
It finds an excellent balance around 28 °C during primary fermentation.
Jazz Sour can also be used in secondary fermentation, following a classic fermentation (bottom with Classic Lager or top with Pop Ale or Rock Ale), offering great flexibility in the brewing process.
It’s especially suited for a wide range of sour styles like Berliner Weisse, Gose, or any bold sour creation.
