Selected by Escarpment Labs and produced by Lallemand, it enables accelerated tank turnover, shorter maturation times, and strong stylistic versatility.
Ideal for modern ales such as IPAs, blondes, and stouts, it also adapts well to stressful fermentations, ciders, and hard seltzers.

- - Attenuation: 78%–86%
- - Flocculation: Medium
- - Ideal temperature range: 16 °C–22 °C
- - Alcohol tolerance: 14%
- - Pitching rate: 50/100g/hl
LalBrew® House Ale™ is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain designed to deliver optimal performance in brewery settings. It stands out for its vigorous fermentation, often completed in 3 to 4 days on a 12°P wort, and for its diacetyl production up to 4 times lower than standard strains. It rapidly reabsorbs by‑products such as acetaldehyde, resulting in a cleaner beer and earlier tank availability.
Its high cell viability (≥ 5 × 10⁹ CFU/g) ensures excellent health over multiple generations, with reliable repitchability and minimal genetic drift. It is POF‑negative, guaranteeing the absence of unwanted phenols in styles where aromatic purity is essential.
