Description
IPA enthusiasts and readers of Scott Janish are already well acquainted with the subject...
Chit Barley Malt comes in the form of flakes, lightly kilned after a very short germination.
It retains most of the characteristics of raw barley, providing stability, body, and a beautiful foam retention to your beer.
These flakes can be added directly to the mash.
With a color of 3 to 7 EBC, you can use up to 40% in a recipe.

Chit Barley Malt, the Friend of Your Best NEIPAs
"Chit Malt" is primarily a functional malt, having undergone a very short germination, it is a barely malted product.
As a result, it retains much of its cereal characteristics and offers many properties in terms of mouthfeel.
Its light malting allows for better yield than traditional barley flakes while retaining their best advantages.
"Chit Malt" is excellent for body, haze stability, and foam retention.
Its incredibly low color will not affect the color of the beer. It is the ideal complement to any craft beer, but it will be particularly beneficial for "Hazy" beers.
