Golden Promise Malt is a high-performance, well-balanced variety that's ideal for supporting heavy hopping. In fact, Golden Promise Malt gives a nice round mouthfeel. It brings overall balance to the beer. It also lends deliciousness to fruitier hops and pleasant body to low-density beers.

Golden Promise Malt can be used at 100%. Its ideal enzymatic activity gives a very good final extraction rate. This characteristic is further enhanced by its low boil (which also gives it its low coloration). What's more, it's the fairly high protein content that gives it its roundness. The taste is balanced, with notes of grain and bread dough. It is this relative neutrality of taste and the consequent body it brings to beer that makes this variety such a highly prized and versatile malt.
