Brew our "1700" recipe : Berliner Weisse
Berliner Weisse was born in Berlin over 500 years ago! There are many rumors about its history. Whether invented by religious refugees or brewer Cord Broihan in the 1500s, Berliner Weisse became Berlin's favorite drink in 1700!
Brew an Acid beer easily with Philly Sour yeast, on a base of Berliner Weisse with Bergamot lemon zest.
The pack includes the malt, hops and yeast needed to make the recipe, for a 20-litre brew.
Please note: The lemon bergamot zest in the recipe is not included in the pack.

If you wish, you can give the yeast a little boost by adding nutrient salts, which are not included in the pack.
Ingredients :
2.3kg Pilsen Malt
1.1kg light wheat malt
20g Hallertau white hops
40g organic lemon zest (optional)
2 packs Lallemand Wild Brew Philly Sour.
Total water volume: 30L (Preferably Sulfate = Chloride: 1:1)
