Description
The Weyermann Extra Pale Premium Pilsner malt is a base malt usable at 100%.
It has an aromatic profile similar to standard Pilsner malt (notes of bread and a subtle honeyed touch). It is simply less kilned.
This light kilning (2 to 3.5 EBC) allows all the malt's enzymes to remain intact.
Beyond a paler color, Weyermann Extra Pale Premium Pilsner malt has one of the best conversion powers (and thus sugar extraction) in our catalog.
It will be the perfect grain for beers using high percentages of raw cereals (Witbier, NEIPA, etc.).
This very versatile malt will also serve you well if your goal is to make a very clear and bright beer.
