Barke® Vienna malt has intense, rich aromas of sweet malt, light caramel, honey and nuts. The Barke® specialty gives this malt a more assertive character than classic Vienna. This malt is perfect for malty lagers such as Vienna Lagers.

Barke® barley is a specifically German variety produced by local farmers for Weyermann®. The characteristics of "Barke® " malts are the pure expression of German terroir. The malty aromas are more pronounced than with a classic barley variety. With Barke® malts, you can add a more authentic character to your German beers.

Using Barke® Vienna Malt
Barke® Vienna Malt can be used in the same way as a classic Munich malt, as it remains a base malt. You can therefore use it up to 100%.
