Description
BBE (Best Before End): October 2025
The caramel dark Munich malt is ideal for enhancing any dark beer style thanks to its level of caramelization, which imparts a deep brown color (180 to 210 EBC) to the beer. This malt reveals a rich aromatic profile with pronounced notes of brown caramel, bread crust, raisins, cocoa, and a subtle hint of hazelnut coffee.
In addition to bringing a beautiful malty richness, it enhances the beer's sweetness and smoothness. It also intensifies the flavors with touches of more pronounced caramel, toasted bread, and a slight note of dark chocolate. Usable at rates of up to 10%, it fits perfectly into dark and malty beers such as Stouts, Irish Red Stouts (IRS), Doppelbocks, Schwarzbiers, or even certain amber beers that benefit from its distinctive character.
