Advantages of use:

      • - FERMOPLUS® Fragrance enhances the floral aromas in beer, evoking orange blossom and fragrant elderflower, with subtle touches of fresh mint.

      • - FERMOPLUS® Fragrance is a yeast nutrient that increases the conversion rate of aromatic thiol precursors by yeasts expressing the IRC-7 gene into aromatic thiol compounds. The yeast nutrient also supports yeast in producing positive aroma and flavor compounds such as esters, terpenes, and norisoprenoids.

      • - Improves beer aroma stability by reducing compounds such as aldehydes, ketones, and lactones that are associated with beer aging.

      • - Reduces the need to use large quantities of thiol-rich hop varieties.

      • - Enhances the aromatic and flavor profiles of beer in an effective, natural, and sustainable manner.

Dosage and use:

Typical dosage: 40 g/hl of cold wort/beer.

It is recommended to add 20 g/hl of FERMOPLUS® Fragrance directly into the cold wort, and an additional 20 g/hl during dry hopping or racking of the beer (at 2°P or ~8 points of SG above the target final gravity).

No rehydration is required.

It is preferable to use brewing yeasts expressing the IRC-7 gene, which allows unlocking and releasing the thiol precursors present in FERMOPLUS® Fragrance.
