Description
Made from 304-grade stainless steel with a mesh size 7 and a PTFE (Teflon) gasket, this sieve is designed for use in active carbon filtration systems.
The bead of this sieve has been designed to fit all standard 2" (50 mm) tri-clamp fittings.

This stainless steel mesh sieve features a PTFE (Teflon) gasket integrated around the exterior. The hard PTFE compound is highly resistant to chemicals and heat. It can be used as a standard gasket or as a filter screen preventing the flow of large particles (> 2.83 mm) through your Tri-Clover fittings.
This fitting is often used in distillation to hold cover media or in pot distillation to retain plants in the steam flow.
