This high-speed steel drill bit is ideal for drilling stainless steel pots, kegs, and other brewing equipment. It is particularly suitable for holes up to 20mm, perfect for 1/2" threaded fittings commonly used in homebrewing. It can also create holes up to 22mm, ideal for 5/8" fittings such as tap shanks. Additionally, it can be used for pilot holes.
Usage Recommendations
- For best results on stainless steel or metal, drill slowly (less than 600 RPM).
- Apply significant pressure and use cutting lubricant to facilitate drilling while keeping the tool and metal cool.
Important : Drilling at high speeds can cause the tool and metal to overheat, reducing the drill bit's hardness and lifespan.
