NukaTap - Flow Control

This NUKATAP is set to replace the INTERTAP model. This new laminar flow design reduces foam formation and beer wastage.

The NukaTap FC uses a flow control mechanism with better sealing properties and improved flow control. This generation of Nukatap with compensator sees improved laminar flow, better sealing, longer-lasting seals, and much more.

What sets this NukaTap apart?

The manufacturer Kegland uses the latest technology in flow control taps. It offers all the advantages of a direct seal tap while allowing control of the flow rate using a simple lever located on the right side of the tap.

The main advantage of this tap is its ability to limit foam formation during the "first pour". In a classic system, the tap is the warmest part. Therefore, it acts as a heat sink and causes the production of a large amount of foam, which means beer loss. In fact, it only works well when it is passed through by a sufficient amount of cold beer, lowering the temperature of the tap body. This Nukatap tap reduces thermal mass, in short, it produces much less foam and thus allows for considerable beer savings.

The advantage is that if you have a temperature problem with your dispensing system, this tap will compensate for it and prevent excessive foam production.
