Description
The Extra Pale Premium Pilsner malt is a base malt usable at 100%.
It has a light aromatic profile of bread notes enhanced with a subtle honeyed touch.
Less kilned (2 to 3.5 EBC) than standard Pilsner malt, it will bring more clarity as well as better starch-to-sugar conversion.
This malt, having one of the best conversion powers in our catalog, will be particularly useful in recipes that require a high percentage of raw cereals (Witbier, NEIPA...).
This very versatile grain will also serve you well if your goal is to make a very clear and bright beer. Used as a single malt, it will produce a beer with a dry and refreshing finish.
