If a hydrometer and its test tube are essential for brewing, they have one major drawback. Generally, about 25cl per sample is required—a significant loss.

With this Mini version, less than 150ml will be needed (suitable test tube available here).

The hydrometer scale is expressed in specific gravity. Despite its small size, it remains very easy to read.
