Description
Carared® malt is one of the most popular "crystal" malts. It will give the beer a beautiful bright red color (40 to 60 EBC) and balanced flavors of sweet caramel, honey, bread crust, and subtle notes of hazelnut biscuit and dried fruits.
It will also give the beer a bit of body and sweetness. Usable up to 25% maximum, it will perfectly highlight a good Irish Red Ale and be a wonderful aromatic ally for any slightly dark malted beer.
