East Kent Golding (EKG) hops are rightly called the king of English hops.

It has an amazing aroma profile: spices, honey but also notes of thyme and lavender. Slightly bitter, with a sweet character, the flavor is as much earthy as honeyed.

EKG is used in post-hopping, but also as a bittering hop.

It is often said that there is no better hop for an authentic IPA or English Bitter.
