Organic Elixir Hops:

Elixir organic hops are a French aromatic variety. Their alpha acid content also allows them to be used for bittering. They were developed through the varietal selection program in Alsace for brewing lager-style beers.

Elixir is a hop with a complex aromatic bouquet. Used at the end of the boil, in whirlpool or dry hop, it will mainly develop aromas of tropical fruits, orange and mandarin flavours, as well as white fruit (apple/pear). In addition, it provides subtle and surprising notes of cognac, leather and tobacco.

It is often used for Farmhouse Ales, Saisons, Bière de Gardes, Lagers and IPAs.
