Sorachi Ace Organic Hops:

Sorachi Ace is the result of a cross between SAAZ, Brewer’s Gold, and BeiKEi No.2 varieties. Although it may have Chinese origins, it was developed in Japan by the Sapporo Brewery on the island of Hokkaido in the mid-1980s. It made a notable comeback on the American craft beer scene in 2006, when a hop shortage led brewers to explore new options—giving Sorachi Ace a chance to shine.

Praised for its versatility, this hop adapts well to many beer styles, especially when woody aromas and pronounced dill notes are desired. Depending on the harvest and usage, it can also reveal hints of citrus and coriander.

Offered here in 1kg pellet format, it remains one of the most iconic hops of the modern craft movement.
