SafAle™ US‑05 is a top‑fermenting yeast emblematic of modern American ales. It produces an extremely clean, dry and neutral profile, allowing hops and malt to express themselves without aromatic interference. It is the reference strain for IPA, Pale Ales, Amber Ales and all beers where aromatic clarity is essential.
With an attenuation of 78–82% and medium sedimentation, it offers a regular, predictable and very stable fermentation. It generates few esters, making it an ideal yeast for hop‑forward beers or styles requiring high neutrality.
The professional 2.5 kg format meets the needs of craft breweries seeking a reliable, high‑performance yeast suitable for large‑scale batches.
Why choose this product?
- Neutral profile ideal for IPA, Pale Ale and hop‑forward beers.
- Attenuation 78–82% for a clean and dry result.
