Low Rider
Low Rider is an ideal yeast strain for low-alcohol beers, particularly session IPAs. The mango/pineapple esters it produces enrich the fruity and tropical notes of the hops used in this style, thanks to a moderate level of bio-transformation.
The Low Rider yeast stands out for its ability to produce beers with a round and complex mouthfeel. This strain has a naturally low attenuation (63-68%) because it does not ferment maltotriose. It leaves a certain residual sweetness and can even be used to brew beers with an ABV equal to or less than 1%.
