Hersbrucker Spät Hop:

The Hersbrucker is a historic German hop variety. It originates from the Hersbrucker Alb mountains in Franconia. Today, a significant area is dedicated to its cultivation in the Spalt and Hallertau regions.

It delivers excellent results in lagers, whether lightly hopped or more intensely flavored.

Under good growing conditions, Hersbrucker can impart more floral and fruity notes compared to other noble varieties, such as Hallertauer Mittelfrüh.

Its high Beta acid percentage also ensures better longevity of bitterness and hop aromas in beer.

The 5kg format is ideal for microbreweries.
