Polaris Hops:

Polaris is a hop variety developed by the Hop Research Center in Hüll.

It stands out due to its exceptionally high concentrations of alpha acids and essential hop oils, making it a unique aroma hop. Approved in 2012, it was introduced as a special variety.

With an average alpha acid content of up to 20%, Polaris is ideal for bitterness and is therefore commonly added at the beginning of the boil.

However, its aromas evoke banana, mint, and pear drop candy, offering a fresh and fruity touch. That’s why many brewers also choose to incorporate it at the end of the brewing process or for dry hopping.

The 5kg format is ideal for Brewpubs and Microbreweries.
