Description
Although slightly darker (8 EBC), the organic Cara Clair malt from Malterie du Chateau is equivalent to the famous organic Carapils malt.
Its purpose is not to add colour or a caramel taste, but to contribute dextrins to the beer.
Usable up to 30%, adding just 5% is enough to give the finished beer some body and excellent foam retention.
