Citra has been a best-seller for over 15 years. It is also among the top 10 most used varieties in the world.

Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2007, Citra® 1kg from Yakima Chief Hops (formerly HBC 394) has a high alpha acid and total oil content, with a low cohumulone percentage.

It is renowned for its distinctive citrus and tropical fruit flavors.

Like Centennial or Mosaic, Citra hops will express their full potential at the end of the boil, in Whirlpool, and in Dry Hop (primary fermentation).

The 1kg format is perfect for the brewing room sizes of brewpubs.
